Of course not. It’s a dumb idea.
But that is exactly what you are doing right now. Sure, you’re making your employees show up for the full day, but you’re not allowing them to show up at full capacity. You’re stifling their creativity and depriving yourself, your managers and your shareholders of the opportunity to benefit from the full range of their capabilities. Half a day at full capacity, a full day at half capacity. It’s the same thing.
Your employees are there anyway. You might as well avail yourself of all they have to offer.
